Occupational Health and Safety Training for All Field Teams
PT Mora Jaya Persada conducts an intensive 5-day Construction Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training for all field teams to enhance the safety culture.

In its ongoing commitment to workplace safety, PT Mora Jaya Persada conducted an intensive Construction Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training over 5 days from August 5-9, 2024, at the company's Training Center in Palembang. The training was attended by 75 field personnel from various operational divisions.
Training Modules and Materials
The training, organized in collaboration with a Ministry of Manpower accredited OHS Training Institution, covered various important modules including: hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRARC), working at height procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, emergency response and first aid, and construction waste management.
Dwi Cahyono, S.K.M., OHS Manager of PT Mora Jaya Persada, explained that this training is part of the company's annual program to ensure all personnel possess adequate OHS competencies. "The telecommunications tower construction industry carries high risks, particularly work at heights. Therefore, we never compromise on safety standards," he emphasized.
Emergency Evacuation Simulation
One of the training highlights was an emergency evacuation simulation on a 42-meter tower conducted at a specialized training facility. All participants were required to practice proper rescue and self-rescue techniques in accordance with international standards. Training instructors provided individual assessments to ensure each participant's competency.
The training materials also covered the latest OHS regulatory updates from the Ministry of Manpower and best practices from previous projects. A sharing session was led by senior riggers who shared real field experiences, including near-miss incidents and lessons learned.
Certification and OHS Achievements
All participants who pass the evaluation will receive a Construction OHS certificate valid for 3 years. PT Mora Jaya Persada also announced a new policy requiring all personnel working at project sites to hold at minimum a basic OHS certificate as a deployment prerequisite.
Since implementing its comprehensive OHS program in 2019, PT Mora Jaya Persada has recorded zero fatalities and an 85% reduction in workplace accidents. This achievement is one of the key factors that has enabled the company to maintain its ISO 45001:2018 certification.
