ISO 45001:2018 Certification Successfully Renewed
PT Mora Jaya Persada successfully renews its ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification from TUV Rheinland after a rigorous audit process.

PT Mora Jaya Persada has successfully renewed its ISO 45001:2018 certification — Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) from the international certification body TUV Rheinland. The surveillance audit was conducted on March 4-6, 2024, at the Palembang headquarters and three active project sites.
Comprehensive Audit Process
The TUV Rheinland audit team, led by the Lead Auditor, conducted a thorough examination of OHSMS implementation at all organizational levels. The audit covered documentation review, management and worker interviews, project site inspections, and verification of OHS risk control effectiveness.
Dwi Cahyono, S.K.M., the OHS Manager who led the audit preparation, explained that the preparation process began 3 months before the audit. "We conducted internal audits across all departments and project sites, ensuring all procedures were consistently followed. Internal audit findings were used as improvement inputs before the external audit," he explained.
Audit Results and Achievements
The audit results showed that PT Mora Jaya Persada successfully met all ISO 45001:2018 requirements with no major nonconformity findings. The auditor noted several positive aspects, including: a comprehensive OHS training program, an effective incident reporting system, and a strong safety culture at all organizational levels.
This achievement is inseparable from top management's commitment to workplace safety. The company allocates an average of 3% of project value for OHS programs, including procurement of quality PPE, regular training, and investment in safety equipment. Since implementing ISO 45001 in 2022, the company's OHS statistics have shown a significant 85% reduction in workplace accidents.
Certification Valid Until 2027
The ISO 45001:2018 certification is valid until 2027 with an annual surveillance audit requirement. PT Mora Jaya Persada targets maintaining zero fatalities and continuously reducing the workplace accident rate through sustainable OHS programs.
