PT Mora Jaya Persada Donates to Mosque Construction in Tanjung Agung Village
As a form of social responsibility and community care, PT Mora Jaya Persada actively participates in the construction of a mosque in Tanjung Agung Village.
PT Mora Jaya Persada donated Rp 150 million for the construction of Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Tanjung Agung Village, Sekayu District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. The donation was presented directly by the President Director, Ir. Ahmad Mora Jaya, to the Village Head of Tanjung Agung and the Mosque Construction Committee on May 18, 2024.
Pro Bono Technical Assistance
In addition to the financial donation, PT Mora Jaya Persada also deployed a technical team to assist with mosque construction supervision on a pro bono basis. The team, led by Rizky Hidayat, S.T. (Engineering Manager), will provide technical assistance ranging from structural design review, construction supervision, to building material quality control.
Ir. Ahmad Mora Jaya explained that this CSR activity is part of the "Mora Peduli" program that has been running since 2018. "We believe that company success should provide tangible benefits to surrounding communities. Construction of houses of worship is one of the most meaningful forms of contribution," he stated.
Al-Ikhlas Mosque Facilities
Tanjung Agung Village is one of the villages near PT Mora Jaya Persada's project area. During the BTS tower construction process in the area, the company had established good relations with the local community. This donation is a form of the company's appreciation for the community's support and cooperation during the project.
Al-Ikhlas Mosque is planned to accommodate 300 worshippers with a building area of 450 square meters. In addition to the main prayer hall, the mosque will also be equipped with educational facilities including a Quran learning room, mini library, and multipurpose hall that can be used by the community for various social activities.
Mora Peduli Program
The Mora Peduli program, which has been running for 6 years, has distributed aid to more than 20 villages in the company's operational area, covering village infrastructure development, educational assistance, orphan support, and disaster relief. Total CSR funds distributed have reached more than Rp 1.5 billion.
