PT Mora Jaya Persada has completed the CME (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) project for Telkomsel Batch 2 covering 50 site locations in South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung. The project, which began in the second quarter of 2023, was completed on time with an average quality assessment score of 95% against Telkomsel's standards.

CME Work Scope

The CME work performed covered various telecommunications site infrastructure components, including: tower foundation construction and renovation, equipment shelter construction, grounding system installation, electrical panel and backup power installation, and site landscaping and drainage work.

Andi Pratama, S.T., who served as Project Manager, explained that the main challenge was the vast work area spread across two provinces. "We had to manage 50 sites located in urban, suburban, and rural areas with widely varying access conditions and terrain. The key to success was detailed planning and efficient team mobilization," he stated.

Team Management and Innovation

To maintain efficiency, the team was divided into 5 work crews, each responsible for 10 sites. Each crew was led by an experienced site supervisor supported by competent foremen, tradesmen, and helpers. Daily coordination was conducted through a digital reporting system enabling real-time progress monitoring.

One innovation applied in this project was the use of precast concrete for shelter foundations. Compared to the conventional cast-in-situ method, the precast method accelerated per-site work time by up to 30% with more consistent quality. This innovation received appreciation from Telkomsel's quality team.

Safety and Future Opportunities

OHS was also a priority throughout the project. The HSE team conducted routine inspections at every site and ensured all workers used PPE according to standards. During the 8-month project execution, not a single workplace accident resulted in lost time injury (LTI).

The success of this CME Batch 2 project has opened opportunities for Batch 3, which is planned to cover 75 new site locations in 2025.
